Business Milestone achieved

It was quite a year in 2008 for the Heartland Group .We moved to prestigious new offices, were awarded Corporate Chartered Status, became finalists for “Regional Broker of the Year” and were given two commendations by the Coventry and Warwickshire Employer of Choice awards. And that’s not to mention a prolific birth rate with 3 babies born to our staff in the space of 3 months!

Nevertheless we still had time to work hard and the year culminated in the announcement at the end of December that we had achieved our target of becoming a £1 million commission income broker. The company was established in 1992 from a standing start and has grown consistently over the years now employing 15 staff, many of them with over 10 years service and an impressive array of qualifications.

Continuing our drive for professionalism in 2009 next month we have our Investors in People assessment which we hope will provide added value to our aim to become the Broker of Choice in the area.

Managing Director, Brian Weetman says,“ this is a fantastic milestone to reach, especially amidst the current economic gloom , and it is down to the hard work and dedication of the staff. I plan to reward them with an “all expenses paid” treat later in the year and copies of exotic travel brochures are now strangely appearing on my desk !!”

The company joined the Willis Commercial Network in 2000 and this has enabled us to provide clients with all the benefits of a local, independent broker with first class service but with access to a much wider range of services. This has enhanced our status and enabled the company to stay ahead of market trends and implement the latest Information Technology.
