Selection of Insurance Companies

We are particularly careful about the insurance companies we work with, monitoring four areas on an ongoing basis:

Security - It is extremely important when considering insurance companies to ensure that they have the financial strength to meet all potential claims. At Heartland we monitor all the insurers we deal with regularly, removing business from them if the situation dictates.

Claims - We work with insurers to ensure that all our clients receive a fair and equitable settlement on every occasion. If we believe that a particular insurer does not treat our clients correctly, we will not deal with them again until we receive categoric assurances as to their future conduct.

Service - As many insurance companies are or have just merged with another, service can be patchy. We work hard to ensure our clients receive the level of service they deserve.

Underwriting/Pricing - We only recommend insurers who provide a competitive price, together with comprehensive cover. As with most things, you get what you pay for, and cheapest may not necessarily be best.
